We are proud to support the Non-Profit organizations in the Columbia area, and in
gratitude of the wonderful things they each
do for the community, MianoVision has created
a donation program, now known as "Eye on
the Community," to help other businesses
and individuals easily do the same.
Everybody needs a leg up from time to time, and we feel this is especially true of our area Non-Profit organizations. Whether it's through the arts, children's education or support programs, business consulting or support services, or just people helping people, we firmly believe these individuals and organizations can benefits from both our help and yours. We've set up the MianoVision "Eye on the Community" program to put your old computer hardware, software, or other technology donations in the hands of companies that need it.
Participation is simple! Just contact us and let us know what you have, and we'll find someone who needs it. Hard Drives, broken computers, monitors, anything you think will help. We also accept sponsored system builds, and will provide systems donated under this program at cost to the Non-profit of your choice. We also encourage area businesses to offer other donations such as free services, sponsored events, and anything else that will help area non-profits, and give us all the warm fuzzies.
As our clients trashed old computers or disposed-of legacy hardware, we began to collect it for safe disposal. However, after wiping some rediculously small hard drives for a client, we asked them if they would be willing to donate them to a local children's shelter for a kid's library system. Not only did they agree, but they hit us with an additional two computers, keyboards, and a pair of dusty but servicable monitors.
